Termination & Cancellation

Clients may cancel hosting services at any time by submitting written notice to accounts@osamweb.com. A member of our cancellation team will then contact the Client to confirm and process the request.

A £50 + VAT cancellation and administration fee per hosting account applies. This fee must be paid in full before website files and/or transfer materials are released. Where applicable, the Client’s website will be provided in the following formats:

  • Website files (ZIP archive)
  • Database files (MySQL)

Moving to a new provider

If you choose to move your services to a new company, we provide 14 days of continued service from the date of notice. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure all website and domain transfers are completed within this period. After this timeframe, services may be terminated and data may no longer be accessible.

Overdue Payments

Accounts with outstanding balances will be suspended after 14 days of non-payment.

If payment is not received within 30 days of the original due date, OSAM Websites reserves the right to terminate the account and permanently delete associated data.

Retirement

Upon retirement, we offer 30 days of continued service to wrap up your affairs, or you may choose to keep the site live until the end of your current hosting term (please inform us if this is the case). Following this period, the account and all associated data will be terminated.

Please note that terminated accounts are permanently deleted; should you wish to return to OSAM Websites later or move to a different provider after your termination date has passed, a new website build and hosting package will be required.
