Payments for hosting services are non-refundable. Hosting accounts are created upon order and allocated server resources based on the selected plan. Payment remains due even if the account is unused.
Hosting accounts remain active until an official cancellation notice is received from the client.
What’s Included
All website hosting packages include 5GB of storage by default, which is shared across website files, databases, and any associated email accounts.
Where a Client approaches or exceeds their allocated storage limit, OSAM Websites will notify the Client and provide the following options:
- Reduce storage usage by deleting unnecessary emails, files, or media content; or
- Upgrade storage capacity by purchasing additional space through a flexible monthly or annual hosting upgrade.
Clients may contact us at any time for assistance, usage information, or pricing details related to upgrades.
Termination & Cancellation
Clients may cancel hosting services at any time by submitting written notice to accounts@osamweb.com. A member of our cancellation team will then contact the Client to confirm and process the request.
A £50 + VAT cancellation and administration fee per hosting account applies. This fee must be paid in full before website files and/or transfer materials are released. Where applicable, the Client’s website will be provided in the following formats:
- Website files (ZIP archive)
- Database files (MySQL)

Moving to a new provider
If you choose to move your services to a new company, we provide 14 days of continued service from the date of notice. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure all website and domain transfers are completed within this period. After this timeframe, services may be terminated and data may no longer be accessible.
Overdue Payments
Accounts with outstanding balances will be suspended after 14 days of non-payment.
If payment is not received within 30 days of the original due date, OSAM Websites reserves the right to terminate the account and permanently delete associated data.
Retirement
Upon retirement, we offer 30 days of continued service to wrap up your affairs, or you may choose to keep the site live until the end of your current hosting term (please inform us if this is the case). Following this period, the account and all associated data will be terminated.
Please note that terminated accounts are permanently deleted; should you wish to return to OSAM Websites later or move to a different provider after your termination date has passed, a new website build and hosting package will be required.
Domain Name Registration and Management
OSAM Websites may register and manage domain names on behalf of the Client as part of the hosting service.
Domain names are registered in accordance with applicable registry requirements. OSAM Websites is responsible for managing renewals and maintaining domain continuity where services remain active
The registration and renewal fees listed below apply only to the .uk namespace. Other TLDs have different rates, which will be discussed with the client at the time of registration.
Domain Registration Fees
- The first (primary) domain associated with a hosting package is included within the Client’s hosting service.
- Additional .uk domain registrations are charged at £15 + VAT per domain per year.
- Fees for other top-level domains (TLDs) vary and will be confirmed at the time of registration.
Domain Renewals
- Primary domain renewals are included in the hosting package and are automatically processed.
- Additional domains are subject to an annual renewal fee of £15 + VAT per .uk domain.
- If a Client cancels their hosting service, we do not renew or maintain any associated domains
Expired and Expiring Domains
- If a business ceases trading, its domains will expire on their scheduled date without renewal.
- OSAM Websites is not responsible for any loss resulting from domain expiration.
Domain Transfers & Contract Termination
- Clients wishing to transfer their domains to a new registrar will be charged a flat fee of £50 + VAT, covering all domains held with OSAM Websites.
- Domain transfers will only be processed once all outstanding balances and applicable fees have been settled.
- Where a Client chooses not to retain domain names upon termination of services, no transfer fee will apply.
